    unless you are
    1) in a trade
    2) working in that job, its better to consider a folder....
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

The proposed changes would make it one felony for unloaded conceal carry or two felonies for loaded conceal carry, regardless if the firearm is registered or not.
Sure. But, only the folks who carry legally registered guns illegally will be prosecuted.

The scumbags with stolen gats, will walk free next day. Like they do now.....

Circa late-90s in Orange County, felony conceal carry of an unregistered loaded handgun by a person with no criminal record netted less than 1 day in jail (for processing), then OR release from jail with a Court date for the felony charges.

Depending on how good your lawyer is, during pre-trial phase, that can be further reduced to a "no contest" plea for time served, $$$$ fine, and 5 year probation or less than 3 months in jail, $$$$$ fine, and 5-10 year probation.
^Condition of probation will include can not own or possess any firearms or ammunition during the duration of the probation.
