OK, I bought one. Now for a new adventure.

A friend of mine loaned me one. The plastic portion that connects the belt to the motor broke. I contacted the company and they replaced it. The only thing they asked was that I send a picture of the old one with the power cord cut off and then throw it away. Great customer service.

The sharpener works great. I will be picking one up for myself soon. I was using it primarily on an axe for an axe-throwing target I built.

Get some cheap knives to practice with first!

Got one. Takes a little practice but I got the feel for it within a half hour or so. Depending on how many steps you want to take it, you get get from field service sharp in a couple minutes to razor polish sharp in just a bit more time.

Sure is a time saver. Yeah start with a cheap donor knife from Walmart or something. I need to see if there's an attachment for thicker knives etc... we tried doing my BIL's M14 bayonet and it won't fit in the guide.

Yep, love mine. All my scissors are crazy sharp! Even sharpened a bunch of old kitchen knives my parents were going to toss. Old German, American and Japanese blades that were duller than a butter knife. Now with some mineral oil on the wood handles, they look new and super sharp.

I Love mine! Sharpens everything, bought a strop to finish off the edge.
