Our Knife Training Group had another session last Sunday, August 4th - lots of material covered:
Going empty-handed against a blade: One student brought up the machete attack that was recently covered in a video... we worked on a solution for that:
Dealing with the probing left hand - an attacker trying to get a hold of his intended victim to punch or stab - great response to have in the tactical toolbag:
The initial deflect....
... leads to a compression lock...
From here it's takedown or stomping ankles to kill the attackers mobility!
