I don't buy counterfeit goods. I feel it is a criminal act to knowlingly buy counterfeit items.

Keiser, and WE knives are probably the only Chinese manufactures that I'd buy. Buying a fake Spyderco is like buying a fake Rolex. No matter what, you will always know.

Yeah, when they ship from China it is always a knock-off... sometimes you get a cheap knock-off and sometimes you order and the seller disappears from Ebay. Buy the real deal from trusted Ebay power sellers/dealers on Ebay or auth'd dealer's sites.

I have one of the budget WE Knives... a 617 in D2 IIRC... it is OK. Zero play in blade pivot. Silky smooth ceramic bearings, nice clip, cheap black paint, cheapo liner lock mechanism IMHO (seems safe though), barely passing detent, cheapo scales. I think I paid $80 and they usually sell for $100.

Getting a ZT on sale for $140 or $170, or whatever you get WAY more for your $$. My 0055, 0456BW, 0804CF are amazing knives.

Ganzo has some decent options among the cheap seats..

One of my utility carry knives is a ganzo 760 (benchmade/axis lock copy) in orange. Actually have quite a few >$25 small folders for work, that do the job, and don't cause any heartburn if they go missing. The 760 has nice ball bearing action, and good lock-up.

                From their feedback:
Knife is poor quality. First half inch of cutting edge is unsharpened. Unusable.

Spyderco AUS8 is already pretty crappy.. I hate to see what steel comes on these.. 440A? Worse? "surgical steel" ?

What’s happening now in commercial cutlery is the Chinese are making a big push with powder metal cutlery at ridiculously cheap prices for "forged looking" knives (10" Chef's for $28 wholesale) and they are touting them as forged...Yeah, powder metal forged...But they don’t say that...

Winco is leading the way, here’s a couple pictures I took last month at the NAFEM tradeshow in Orlando, FL. I’m the Friedr. Dick sales rep in Northern California and their knives are forged in Solingen, Germany from superior billet steels, so I have to stay on top of this stuff to educate my F. Dick dealers/distributors.

                    This is Winco’s stuff.

Look at the picture in the listing showing the tip of the blade. It isn't sharpened, it is squared off.

Chinese production can be amazing quality, and it can really crappy too.

I own a few Reate collab knives and they are nicer than any of my American made ZT's. I have two Lambert/Reate and a Liong Mah/Reate, all of them amazing knives. Chavez has Reate make all his knives as well. Tightest tolerances.... rivaling Chris Reeves.

The ZT0920 is my favorite Zero Tolerance and then ZT0542WBW is really nice, but they don't hold a candle to the quality of a Reate.

WE knives are nice, I had the Drakon for a while but sold it because the clip got in the way of my hand. I may buy one again but not any time soon. WE Makes a good knife though. I have no experience with Kizers.

To the OP: Would I buy a knockoff chinese blade made as an imposter? NO. a cheap knife can fail and hurt you really badly, possibly permanently. I'd rather buy a legitimate product that I can rely on. just my 2 cents
