Save your dollars and get a decent knife. See above.

have had one since somewhere around 1992ish as a daily carry. no complaints and like the design. Lost it for a couple of weeks and bought a benchmade (the only way I could figure out how to find the CRKT was to buy a new one). I like the locking mechanism on the benchmade better. Actually carry the benchmade now since it is a little smaller (not a dis to the CRKT).

I have a few CRKTs. I don’t consider any of them junk. I have this knife, and easily flipped it open 1000s of times. Still smooth as ever and takes a razor sharp blade easily.

Not junk at all. You don't need to break the bank to get a quality knife. I am very fond of many of the ones I own. Especially the M16.

I have many CRKT knives. One is waiting in my mailbox as I type this. Some of their real cheap knives are not very good quality but if you use your head most of them are pretty good.
