Need a new EDC folder.

I'm looking to replace my EDC knife. I had a Benchmade contego but unfortunately I missed placed it and I had no luck finding it in the last few days. I have other back up knives but it doesn't feel the same. I would like another benchmade.

My criteria for a EDC is slim not too heavy or too light that I forget I'm carrying it and has a deep pocket clip. Budget is $100-200.

My choices so I far is the benchmade triage 915 or the benchmade 940-2. Is there any other knives I should be looking for

The pocket clip is weird, it doesn't work well in all pants, but if you're of the younger 'all my pants are basically girl pants but I buy them at guy pants stores' generation it'll probably be fine.

Large blade, classy looks, slim, okay - decent steel, flipper, ball bearings.

Otherwise a Boker Urban Trapper fits the bill pretty well.

Unless you really wanted something more expensive.

The bench made barrage is my edc, I like the spring assist. The 940 backs that one up, but wow! I really like that crooked river!

I don't live in LA (so someone correct me if I'm wrong), but I was always told that a visible clip could be construed as unconcealed and then you end up running into the 3" issue. Again, could be off....

CRKT M-16s are a good line that fit every item in your checklist except the budget. $15-20 when on sale at Big 5. So drop $150 and buy 10. Now you're set for the next 20 years. Use 'em, abuse 'em, don't fret about losing 'em.

Just get a 940 or another 810 if you want a Benchmade. Definitely get an Axis lock. Benchmade stumbles when it tries to do things other manufacturers excel at... like flippers or multiple locks. Check out a Presidio. I prefered the old style scales though.
