    Mummert Clips

Anyone here currently using a Mummert clip? I'm just curious how it's working out, and if possible, would like to see pictures of your set up.

I was going to run one on a small knife that I was going to clip to the should strap of my backpack like the one pictured on their site, but am still on the fence about it. That way, I can pull it off and clip to the pants if neccessary vs molle, which would be more complicated and cumbersome. Thoughts?

No one here has these? What about UltiClips?

I have no experience with Mummert but it does look functional.

The Ulticlip is really well built and grabs onto stuff with a vengence. They came on a few holsters I picked up last year. Brand new the clip can be really tight and hard to open but other than that I have no complaints. Light weight and cheap too, what's not to love.

      Regards,
      Mike

Yeah, these clips work well. I have one on a holster also, and think it's a bit small for that, but would work perfectly for a knife. Can't wait for the XL clips to be released!

They, mummert clips, look very similar to the ones I make. Mine are made of high carbon tool steel not titanium, and are not offset as the mummert's. Also, the application is different, as mine are on conceal carry holsters. Point is, that design allows for retention on the draw, as the hook grabs the pants even without the use of a belt.

As used the way they are using them for blade sheaths seems a bit over complex but definitely doable. Price is right. I couldn't make them for that price.
