    Which Kershaw?

    H ya'll,

Well I lost my EDC last week, I've looked everywhere and it's gone.

So it's time for a new EDC. I've narrowed it down to these 3 choices, if any of you guys own one of these, please give me your opinions.

    Thanks!

    Thanks,
    Emil

I don't have any experience with those blades but I absolutely love my Kershaw blur for edc.

      Do the first one.
I love half serrated blades. And am a fan of a kershaw.
      Very solid knives.

Have a couple of the Waved kershaws (not this one in particular).

Nice and sharp right out of the box, reliable opening wave or manually, solid open lockup and closed retention. Ball bearing on the liner lock.

Good value for the price, no experience with the other two options.

Thanks for the tips. As an EDC what advantage does having the blade being half serrated offer vs a full straight blade?
          Thanks,

+1 for kershaw blur! And i like the serrated because I cut lots of rope and straps for work and dont have to keep my knives super shard for it.

i was in your position a few weeks ago. had a cryo ii and replaced with a thermite.

of your 3, i recommend the cryo. Frame lock and hinderer design are must-haves for me. along with quad carry clip.

I'm a big Kershaw fan and I have a few, with the RAM being my go to favorite. The ones you're asking about are fine but I would suggest you go with an American made Kershaw. The materials and metal used are better.

Any of those are fine for EDC. I would personally go with the Cryo because I do not like liner locks. It's an assisted opening frame lock, and all metal construction. Very sturdy.

I'm on a non-serrated kick right now, but here's the partially - serrated version of my current go-to EDC. I love it, especially the grip. And it's just the right size for me.

If you're totally fixed on only those 3, I like the first one, but I like the pocket flip action of the second

+1 the blur Tanto is the way to go. I've had a blem for EDC for years. Got it from kershawguy.com and couldn't even tell why it was blemed. I just told my wife yesterday I was going to buy another from him. He's a calgunner too!

I like the second one because it doesn't have serrations.

I love my Kershaws! I've got three different Blurs and two Chives. Me? I'd prefer to stick with a Made in USA one, but I'd probably pick up the Clash out of those three.

woot.com has kershaws for sale all the time. currently they have the cryo for 18.99 and the cryo 2 for 20.99. they have a bunch of other kershaws as well for way under what they go for in stores. just be careful as woot seems to be addictive
