Beginner Compound Bow Needed

I'm looking for a beginner's compound bow for my wife. I looked at all the usual places (both local and on-line) and the prices are too steep, considering I don't know if she'll be into or not, longterm. Anybody got an adult, beginner's bow (arrows & release would be great, to) they are willing to part with for a reasonable price?
