Howdy! I have a like-new 327 TRR8 that I am interested in selling. Until recently, I thought I would never sell it, and I have only put around 350 rounds through it (most being .38 special since .357 magnum was nearly impossible to find while I was actively shooting it). This is the most accurate firearm I have ever shot (which is saying A LOT because I have shot a ton of different weapons).
I bought it brand new from my local dealer (Glenn's Rod-n-Gun, who has since gone out of business) in February of 2013. I have never mounted the rails on it, and I have all the hardware and moon clips that it came with.
It has fallen to the ground twice, and both times it was secured inside of a nylon holster. Both times occurred in Twentynine Palms during a 4 day camping trip there. The holster slipped off of my waist because I didn't realize it could be clipped solely on a belt, and instead had it clipped over the belt and inside the waistline of my pants
). It landed in a soft patch of sand both times.
The only damage on the revolver is a micro amount of marring on the right side of the tip of the barrel. It really isn't even noticeable unless you're eyes are within ~5" of it (I will take pictures later).
The storage case it came with was deformed while sitting on a truck's tailgate in the desert, which is sad, because the Sig storage case that came with the P220 Equinox I had at the time was sitting right next to it the entire time and suffered no damage or deformation. The deformation is slightly noticeable on the right side of the hinge. It still functions though, and I am sure S&W would replace it for free if asked.
The package includes:
- One S&W 327 TRR8 (with the rails, hardware, moon clips, and storage case that it was sold with)
- 337 rounds of .38 Special ammunition (FMJ)
- 26rds of .357 Magnum Federal Power-Shok ammunition (180gr JHP)
- One 20rd box of .357 Magnum 125gr PDX1 Defender ammunition
- One nylon holster (thought it was an Uncle Mike's, but couldn't match it to their online stock)
Something you are probably wondering: Why am I looking to sell this?
I am selling most of my guns to help fund a long trip that I am saving up for. Also, I don't have any use for my guns any longer, and never have time to go shoot them, so why keep them?
Make me an offer if you are interested. I am in Costa Mesa, and can meet you somewhere in L.A. for the transfer.
