SA Operator FULL RAIL

OK... I'm sooooo tired of "just mising these" when they pop up every now & then. Gonna try WTB a little before going the Custom Shop route.

Looking for a FULL RAIL Springfield Operator, either loaded or the TRP version. It's gonna see some work, so shooters are ok. I KNOW there are some just sitting pretty in many safes out there, taken out to be fondled gently and rubbed down before being placed in it's cold, dark dungeon.

Let her FREE for me!! I'll show that safe queen a good time, but she'll be treated like a lady always.

road trip to L.A.

I've been looking HARD at that Custom Talon II w/ rail down south... it's pretty sweet... but 2 times I'd have to go there? I dunno... he's willing to ship, but I find it kinda hard to send $$ over the wire for a piece I've never held.

My sister could pick it up for me (lives down there), and we could dros it over when she visits next, but... aaaarrrghhh, I dunno... I need a whiskey...

I saw the title a got all excited thinking this was a for sale thread and clicked without looking and seeing that this was the WTB section.

On the Talon II... yeah it's on the list, so he could ship it to my FFL, but like I said. Even w/ da pics, I kinda want to HOLD that baby, plus well, I'm just a little uncomfortable shooting that much $$ around on faith.

The PPT's just make the whole thing rock solid, you meet, look it over, do a deal, DROS, shake hands and wait the 10 days. KNOWING that piece is in a shop waiting for you to come back and get her, is almost invaluable to me.

Which is why I'd consider getting my sister involved, even if I won't see the piece until Thanksgiving when she comes up... she's got her HSC and can inspect a 1911, although she's a SIG freak. I'm in no hurry, but I've missed many an opportunity (a COLT Commander, just recently) because I didn't ACT.

I'm hoping to see a PM when I finish this.... Schlamoo ???????
