WTB: Any SIG P228 parts (or compatible parts)

All I have is a frame. I need everything else. Even broken or damaged parts might be interesting.

I can pay, or I can trade for machining work. Legal of course.

oooooh that is good to know

my new problem is that I think I may build this as a 226 or 229 so its "on roster" (whichever is, I forget)

so now I'm not sure what kind of barrel I need..im in the process of figuring this all out..hopefully its still for sale when I know what I'm doing

but that shouldnt stop the parts offers from coming!!

If you already own the frame, the roster is of no importance to you. However, you may not have a choice between building a 229 or 226, the frames are different and not interchangable.

If you have a 229 frame, a 226 slide will fit but the dust cover is about 1/4" too short.

If you have a 226 from, a 229 slide/barrel will not lock up.

Also, if you have a older 229 9mm frame, 40cal mags will not fit. If you have the newer 229-1 frames, then it's no problem.
