Hey guys im triying to finish out the look of my East German AK74, so if anyone have any Orange bakelite mags or could direct me on where to get some, thanks!

yah iknow they are pricy, are the bakelite magazines the SAME as steel ak magazines ? if so maybe we can rig up a plastic or a "cover" to make them look like bakelits ?*DISCLAIMER* I probably misspelled alot of things, and i dont care...

SO are you looking for AKM 7.62 or AK74 5.45? E. German ak74 should be 5.45.
If its 7.62 I have some rebuild kits (Russian Izhmash) that could be for sale to make a 10/30 but it will be expensive. I have several near new and several battlefield used....teach your children well...Comment

Please don't do that to a rare magazine. If you want that look, buy a Bulgarian "Slab Side" black polymer mag, convert it to 10/30 and paint it that bakalite hue. I can't find it now, but someone came up with a paint formula or original color that matches closely to the bakalites. Also please clarify if you are looking for AK47 or AK74 mags.sigpic
