wtb used upper

I am looking for an used A1 type C7 upper receiver. The one with the shell deflector and forward assist. I would prefer one that is well used and do not mind scratches or scuff marks . I would also be interested in a used A2, or flat top upper if the price is good. I can pay via Paypal or money order, or cash if ftf. If anyone has one for cheap shipped to San Diego or FTF , please let me know. Or I might have some things to trade as well.

this is probably a dumb place to ask this but how many types of aluminum uppers do they have

i have 4 and am wondering if i am missing a generation

i have the one with no forward assist and no deflector,
the paddle assist and no deflector,
the a2 style with windage and elevation sight and deflector
and a flat top one

oh i guess i need this one too



i am familiar with the slick sided dpms one but that was never a mil-spec one

Yeah I like the A1 with deflector. But if I could find a slick side for cheap, that would be great.

I paid around $80 for the upper. If you just keep your eyes on the marketplace, here and on the equipment exchange on ar15.com, you can come across a1 uppers from time to time. Or post here in the wtb , and usually someone will contact you .
