Unless you are talking the newer 3 lug variants --- you do realize that all of the HK flash-hiders are all the same on the outside and they all have the same thread pattern as well.

The only difference of the early designs was the internal bore diameter.

It would be odd if your MP5 wasn't the 3 lugged variant or at least threaded 1/2 x 28 for the 3 lug adapter.
