Savage Rascal Youth .22 rifle

Hi all,

I am looking to get a Savage Rascal .22 rifle.
Maybe some where out there your young one has outgrown it and moved on.

I am in Pasadena CA.

another option maybe a CZ 452 or marlin xt22. I originally looked for a rascal but felt my kids would outgrow it and would end up having to sell the rascal. what made me look at the other 2 is they have an option to have a single shot magazine which would work like the rascal. but, and here was the selling point for me. they also can take regular 5 or 10 round magazines so when they outgrew single shot they would still be able to use the riffle. I actually enjoy shooting it as well and so have others that have shot it and has the nice feature of taking 10 round mags for when I shoot it. they have youth models which accommodate a shorter length of pull. the marlin would probably be a better option since they come with the option of a polymer stock vs the cz's wood stock which makes it heavier. and the marlin if I remember correctly was right around $200 which wasn't much more than a rascal.
