    WTB: German Shepherd

Just as the title reads, my wife and I are looking for a GSD. We're currently trying rescues in the local area but all are saying that I need to be present. That's going to be difficult seeing that I'm currently deployed and won't be back for another year.

We're trying to stay away from puppies and looking for them between the 1 1/2 to 3 years old range. Any insight anyone can provide I would greatly appreciate it.

Try looking on www.petfinders.com. You enter the criteria for the dog you are looking for and they provide a list of what is available, working from your zip code out. You could also try craigslist, but petfinders is pretty reliable.
    Good luck!

You may want to contact local breeders. Many times, they have females that they retire from their breeding program. Older than your age range, but an option for sure.
Guns, dogs and home alarms. Opponents are all of a sudden advocates once their personal space is violated.

My aunt and uncle breed and they are the best. They have a male that is 2 yrs old and for the right people they might be willing to give away, they are getting to old and I have a female that us not fixed. Right now they stud him out and have made commitments so if they are willing one of the stipulations would be follow through on your part? Let me know if interested.

            Craigs list.
My wife and I bought two GSD puppies last december, a brother and sister that were 7 weeks old. Found them in San Bernardino in Craigs list. They are almost 12 months old now. Great dogs.
