Nice!! Looks like a lot of things are getting ironed out and I commend you guys for listening to us as we are all use to giving our .02 but it is a rarity to see change enacted so quickly. Is there a way to guarantee getting a billet 80%? Still need to read up on the difference between billet and cast.

Not on billet right now in 2 weeks yes but forged is in stock right now

Well you can buy in San Jose but will need to be done on non build day. So if you buy tomorrow you would not be able to build anyway untill Monday as there must be a 3 day separation between when you buy and when you build to meet the gray area of the law. It does not say that but talking this lawyer and others it seemed to be wise to do that. Now that's only when u buy from us as I don't know when you buy from others but I truly recommended you do that as well. Our lawyer is pretty good so I for one always take his advise

Actually I would like a forged as i have forged aluminum for my other builds and am more concerned with strength and longevity than appearance. Is this different than a cast? Also is the build discount still applying to the new lower price?

Well my understanding is that if i build it myself and I don't sell it and just keep it for myself. I don't have to put a serial number on it? And I still have to follow all laws regarding assault weapons?

@Mizouse - yes, all laws apply even for self build.

@Clint - I have some documents from another build party you can copy and distribute which summarizes most every question posted so far. Let me know if you are interested and I can bring them on Sunday or Saturday (late afternoon).
