    WTB Broomhandle Mauser

Would like to buy a Broomhandle Mauser in .30 Mauser. No Bolos, no Nines. Shot out bore will be considered for re-lining. Numbers matching, no rust preferred, but all considered.

Saw one at Field Time Sports and Guns on (Beach Blvd & Hazard) in the city of Westminster, CA forgot what it was going for though in the 4 digits thought. It was .30 Mauser caliber

Thanks. I'll check it out. Decent ones will go for anywhere from $1500 to $3500.

The ammo for this must be hard to find and very expensive

You'd be surprised, PRVI still makes it and I've seen surplus on the market. It's popular with the people who own Tokarevs because they can run it.

            WTB Broomhandle Mauser

I have enclosed a PDF from the C96 Yahoo list about interchangeablity of the two cartridges. Read it carefully before you shoot as old a gun as the Broomhandle.

Did you check out the gun at Westminster yet?

No, not yet. Working seven days a week for the railroad puts a crimp in my leisure time activities. There are plenty to pick from on Gunbroker though. I may have a day off in a week or so.
