looking to do a custom compact and not wanting to buy a nice new pistol to try out my home smithing skills ... looking for any brand compact frame ,problem child o.k. ,beat up o.k. abused o.k. as long as the frame is still serviceable ....would even consider a 60-80% frame if the price is right .... if you have a compact/officers 1911 you want to part with drop me a p.m. .... thanks Jim
