So, been watching the classifieds for a while, but not seeing quite what I'm interested in. What I'd like...
1. Savage 99 in .308win: I know there's a quite a number subtle differences between the various years of s99, so let me know the particulars and history of the rifle. Looking for a fun lightweight shooter, not a collector's item. If you offer me some tacticool abortion, I can't promise I'll be civil about it.
Might consider a .308win BLR as well.
2. Precision rifle in .308win: Looking for a sorted rifle to try longer range shooting. 20-24" target/bull barrel, .308win chambered and twist suited towards 168+ grain bullets (1:10-11?), bolt or semi-auto, suitable from 100 to 800 yards. I would prefer a complete setup that can be test fired at a bay area range, as I've never shot any of the aftermarket stock setups and have no idea if the ergonomics will work for me. Optics are optional but only looking for mil/mil.
3. C&R rifle setup: Something for fun. Looking for a complete bolt action or semi-auto shooter with a decent amount of ammo. M1 Garand? A strange swiss rifle? Finnish M-N? Enfield?
I have cash and US gold or silver eagles for trade.
