Im looking for a slightly used XDM 9mm. I know it's not legal for new purchase but if anyone out there has one, I'm interested.

While a California FFL dealer can not sell a non-rostered XDm to you unless it has been modified to meet the Single Shot Exemption. But, there is nothing illegal about your purchasing an XDm in CA from an in-state private party and in a PPT, whether it is used, new or rostered, is irrelevant. However, I don't think there is an OEM or even an after market mag available for the 9mm XDm, so you would have to modify a larger cap mag to meet the CA 10+ mag limitation. Considering all the hoops to be gone through, perhaps a comparable rostered Glock model would be a a better alternative.
