    WTB : PTR 91

    Like add said, I am looking for a PTR91, PTR-91 , PTR 91 , g3 , HK rifle

I am not willing to pay much more over pre-scare prices. I'll offer $1k for the GI model, and $1100 for the limited edition wood GI model. I'm not looking for toys for it. I dont need or want a scope mount or handy dandy multiple railed hand guard. I just want the basic rifles mentioned here. I can travel some what, but since you'd be the seller I'd like for you to at least meet me half way from Fresno.

Best bet would be to call me @ 559-572-1752

Like I said, if some one wants to sell their PTR, I said what I was willing to pay for one. Please don't thread crap.

Here's some unsolicited advice. Don't stubbornly hang your hat on the prices of days-gone-by. I have done that a few times and learned the lesson the hard way. IMHO the pre-panic prices will not return, but prices will continue to climb as the gun-grabbers push for more regulations. Chances are that they will be successful in some measure - further limiting your options. Search all the sources for what you want, and when you find the best price... buy it!

I feel prices will go down some. I have noticed more and more items are now sitting on the WTS section longer and longer. If I run into a deal where I'm not getting scalped I'll buy. In the mean time I'll order one from an authorized dealer and wait for delivery.

            PTR

You can get a NIB PTR-91 from Roadrunner Gunsmithing in AZ for about $1500.00. Not a bad price right now, and you don't have to stand in line at Turners at 6:00 am hoping to be one of the lucky buyers who gets one of the 3 or 4 they got in.

A year later, and those prices are long gone. Prices are dropping. $899 at atlantic for a GI version +50 for mag lock. $949 for classic wood. $1000 with a scope rail.

              For brand new.
