WTB: python, refinished or otherwise non-collectible

I'm looking for a python, any barrel length. I'll be shooting it alot rather than adding it to a collection, so ideally it'd be something that had no real collector value b/c of refinishing or some equivalent alteration.

Of course, inexpensive original condition pythons work too, as long as the internals/accuracy are LNIB ;-)

This is for SF bay area; prefer PPTs at jackson arms, but other places work too.

    Thanks,
    Dawson

This will be about the cheapest and available for you to purchase. The last time I talked to them was they said it is PPT capable. You might want to call them first.

Thanks for the quick reply! I had looked at that, but I was concerned about the rust --- while cosmetics are not that relevent, if there was *rust* on the outside, who knew how badly cared for the barrel was. Plus $800 is a bit much given the condition. I just got a amazing python for $900 --- it's only problem is that it's in such good condition I feel bad shooting it. Hence the non-collectible backup. The action on those things really is as amazing as people say...

Thanks again for pointing this out.

Fairly standard: 6 inch, blued finish. Hopefully I didn't come across as overclaiming --- I just meant it was amazing to me, since I've never shot a python. After Rugers and S&W's, doing rapid fire w/ that thing stunningly fun.

It was a lucky deal: the guy's father had owned it and left it in a safe; he just wanted to offload it. There wasn't even really a turn mark on the cylinder.
