Always wanted this handgun, now I decided I'd like to purchase it and just my luck it's still on the CALIF. gun listing (soon to expire 12/2012). I wouldn't mind getting the Stoeger Cougar 8040 but it is not on the list for sales in Calif. Very interested if anyone knows of one being sold for a pers. to pers. sales in Calif.

Sorry, I'm in Concord Calif. (Northern Cal.) Stoeger is selling them for $399 NEW, so I'm looking for $350 to $400 max. on one. Will need to be shipped to my gun store in Vallejo Cal. so add that to the cost. Would love to keep it under $400 because I still have to pay the transfer fee and shipping and processing at "Triple A's Sporting Goods", and that will bring my total to $500 plus.. Wish me luck.
