    WTB-Savage 116FCSS (Weather Warrior) in 30-06

I'm in Orange County (for now will be in SLO in after Sept 12th or so) and am looking for a Savage 116FCSS in 30-06.

The perfect setup would be a relatively decent quality but affordable (redfield or so) 3x9 or 4x12 scope on top mounted with some solid rings but I'm perfectly happy to buy just the rifle as well. Also I'll be buying a nice hard case for this ultimately as I want the capability to securely lock this up so if you're selling a Pelican or SKB or other solid case I'd be interested in that too, but again just the rifle would be fine.

    Thanks

Not a Savage, but this might be of interest:

Remington 700 BDL in 30-06. hard chromed w/ Schillin bbl, fiberglass stock, Pachmyar recoil pad, padded sling, extendable bipod, Leopold 3x9 mounted, trigger job & Mag-Na-Ported. Comes w/ lockable hard case. All work done in '84 by Wright Rifle in Montana. It is not just weatherproof, but bombproof. Thought I was going back to live in Alaska. Didn't I have had it ever since. Cost $1,700 in '84 (still have the receipt). Less than 50rnds through it. Yours for $1,500.
