Ruger Blackhawk 38-40 and 10mm cyls. and 10mm dies $550

You can still occasionally find a S&W 610... 10 mm with capability to use the less expensive 40 S&W. The last models made were the 3 7/8" and the longer 6.5" bbls.. This revolver will put up with the hottest 10 mm ammo without fear of breaking or wearing out (it's built on the same frame as the 44 magnum after all).

I got a few offers for some super awesome piece but I'm more looking for something alittle more affordable, somewhere in the $400-$700 area.

thanks for the info guys, I'm leaning toward a semi pistol. Ammo cost won't be an issue cause soon I'll have access to more 10mm and .40 rds than I can possibly shoot.
