    CMP is pushing out very good Garands for around $500. You wont find a better deal for such a good rifle.

          I do not wish to thread crap; my only intention is to save you some time.

          People who own garands love them so much, they are not going to sell them to you for under $500 in any condition.

          CMP is your best bet; if you want a private party garand, be prepared to pay $800+ in any condition.
