Looking for Nice Revolver 1920-1965 in nice shootable condition

    Hi,

I am looking for a nice Revolver made in the time frame of 1920-1965.

Caliber should be something available at a decent price nowadays.

I am planing on shooting that revolver from time to time, so parts also need to be available.

Any recommendations? I am going to the Gun Show in Costa Mesa Sunday to check out your recommendation.

    Thank You

    Max

My suggestion is a Smith & Wesson M&P 38/ Model 10. 38 Special ammo is widely available, parts are available but the gun will outlast you, and they can usually be found for $300 or less.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Original Poster: there is a WTB (want to buy) forum, try your thread there. Also; take a look a the California Handguns forum, lots of information there.
