    First real rifle?

    Hey yall the king of dumb questions on a fact finding mission. Alright today's economy yadda yadda rant rant piss moan. The two rifles I have found new in my price range are a the savage 30-8 bolt and the rem 770 also same cal. I am posting here because I want to buy or trade one of these rifles. I'm looking for input on which one would be a beefed idea if found at the same price or within 50$ I have a rem nylon 66 .22lr in used co dition I dont thinkanyone would really want it but I have it if you do. Norcal only sac preferred.

      What color and cond is the Nylon 66. Also what are you asking for it?

        The Savage over the Remington 770 every day, no question. The 770 is the Yugo of American rifles.

          I love my Savage Model 10's in .308 & .223.
          Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

          I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

          Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

            The nylon is a little older and to be honest not a rifle I have pampered in the least so not new condition... It's dark brown
