Well I got mine out of the newspaper. She had her first set of shots and was registered already. Check out the local paper.

Why don't you check the pounds and rescue orgs? They should have something as pit bulls are the most turned in dogs.

Try www.petfinder.com, www.tvar.org, etc.

If you're willing to drive, lots of possibilities in the Stockton area, as the economy has really tanked and lot's of dogs being given up and put down.
