Just a thought, when you do pick up a Galil look into MSA's AR mag adapter. I've modified the adapter to work like a BB and works great with my AR mags. Galil's a bit heavy but pretty accurate and a lot of fun to shoot.

I also verify this. I looked at one when I was at PRK this past Thursday. They also have a FAL in .223.

Oooo. Forgot about the FAL. It's an early model, aluminum receiver (turns out, they're too weak for 308. Go figure) that has an AR mag adapter.

Much lighter than a standard FAL.
