There is one for sale at Turners in San Bernadino. It isnt the colt that you are looking for. It is a Star. It looks like it is in bad shap though. Nothing you cant fix with a few new parts. I think thy wanted like $350.00. Hope this helps.

I've been looking for one a while now.Springfield makes one , but it is in 3 in barrel and it cost almost $1000 the EMP. Kimber makes them, but their is only one on the drop test and it is a target SS model. If you get an older colt comander the mags. cost a fortune, if they work,and they will need reliability work froma gun smith. Your best bet is to buy a sig 225.

Actually SA makes 2 SS models in government size besides the EMP. One w/ fixed and one w/ target sights. I just picked one up not too long ago....I snatched the first one I've seen as SA's are sometimes hard to come by let alone one in 9mm. It's a really cool pistol, good luck w/ your search.
