11/17/2010 still WTB Magazines for Springfield P9 LSP in 9mm (CZ clone)

*** 11/17/10.......I'm still looking for some!!!!

I have Springfield P-9 LSP in 9mm. I'm looking for some additional magazines and some rebuild kits to repair the hi-cap mags I have. It is a CZ clone (Tangfolio style) Earlier style CZ75 magazines work best.

    Options

You can use magazines for a CZ-75 or the Tanfoglio line of pistols in this gun (EAA Witness are the easiest to find). The CZ magazines have a slight different shaped base plate, but fit fine. Search for ProMag, Mec-Gar, or order direct from the Factory http://www.eaacorp.com/parts-hand-gun-magazines.html (yours is the early style)

If you have access to a dremel, Beretta 92 magazines also work. A new slot needs to be cut in magazine, since the Beretta magazine release is about 3/4" lower on the frame than a Tanfoglio or CZ. The new slot will be closer to the top of the magazine.

        More

SugarfreeBob in Downey has them in stock. Search on Gunbroker for more. Should find plenty for under $25 each (maybe under $20).

Tanfoglio has appeared under several difference names and models. Might try a few extra names in your search: F.I.E, Ex-cam, Magnum Research, European American Armory (EAA), TZ-75,

I bought some SA P9 mags a while back, under the mistaken impression that they would work in my CZ.

They are sitting next to my workbench, serving no useful purpose.

Unfortunately, I don't know if the state will allow me to sell them to you, since they have not been gimped.
