i have a PARKERIZED custom colt ace military subcaliber prototype 22LR made by AR Sales (who were bought out by federal ordnance/national ordnance). if you know the aces, youll know that very few came parkerized as military trainers.
the gun is completely colt service ace, including all of the small parts (such as slide stop, thumb and grip safety,all internal parts,ect),except the receiver which is a lightweight AR Sales. the receiver is specifically made for the colt service ace. doesnt have a 45 acp feed ramp, and a pin is installed in the frame forward of where the 45 feed ramp should have been, a groove has been machined in the bottom of the ace 22 feed ramp that rides on the pin,ect...VERY sweet and VERY VERY accurate (much more so than the factory ace pistols or conversions). all of the small parts,ect are all serialized to the frame, and the gun is engraved "PROTO ACE EKJ" under the right grip panel. also has adjustible trigger......
comes with 2 factory colt service ace magazines
i got it specifically to be able to throw a 45 top end on the frame, but come to find out , you cant as it was made specifically by AR Sales for this upper and small parts, so you cant install a 45 upper on it, its strictly 22
