You do realize the terms, "gotta be someone out there who has one" and, "they want to sell" are mutually exclusive when it comes to DW Cbobs don't you? I've got one, but it ain't for sale. I feel your pain.

          FREE BUMP.

I was at City Arms on Thursday night, there was one on hold in the case (next to a PM7!) which may or may not be a possibility, give 'em a call. I will warn that the price tag was high, like $1150 or $1200 or something -- these things skyrocketed in price in the past 2 years, I remember them being $900.

I've been considering getting a CBOB myself and I, too, remember when they were going for $900.

Bud's Gun Shop has them for $999 shipped, not including insurance (about $10) and 3% CC fee ($30). So, if you have a dealer who charges a reasonably priced transfer fee, you can have one for a little over $1100.

Thanks for the thoughts and tips, fellas. Holding out for that elusive pre-owned copy that someone may eventually want to sell in order to avoid fees/taxes.

Took me 16 months to find one. Unfortunately, one of my son's talked me into shooting it on Christmas eve. It is sweet! But not cherry any longer.
                      Seen a S&W Model 66 with a 3" barrel?
