Beware Scammers!

Sorry I didn't know where to post this, but within the past couple of days, I was contacted through email by someone responding to my post on my interest in buying a S&W Model 63. They stated they were from Sacramento and had a S&W Model 63 for $500 that they were willing to ship. They sent me a photo of the gun. I said I was interested, but would need to contact my FFL to get more clarification on how to proceed with the transaction. They stated that they can ship directly to my house, no FFL necessary. I typed into google "Smith and Wesson Model 63 Armslist" because that was the site listed on the corner of the pictures sent. Turns out the photo was taken from an ad posted a year ago in Ohio. Be careful when speaking to people to make these transactions! I'm sure there are plenty of scammers that would like to make a quick buck selling imaginary guns.

The email I was contacted by was delgadobenjamin174@gmail.com. Phone number is (409)247-8519. Do not trust this person, they are a scammer!

I just received a response to my "WTB" post from the same scammer.

He used benjamindelgado846@gmail.com this time so he changed it up a bit. He did use the same phone number [(409)247-8519].
