Just a heads up about a probable scammer. He's contacted at least 3 guys on the WTB board. No posts, no feedbacks and he's telling everyone to email his buddy in Texas to buy the item at Jeffreygrey21@gmail.com

No, the OP linked to a private message - private meaning it can only be seen by the OP. He did not link to a user profile.

This scammers buddy in Texas just emailed me about the NV scope I'm looking for. He said he's got a PVS 2 in good shape for $500 delivered. I asked if he had anything built in the last 20 years because while I collect antiques, I prefer my NV gear be from this century.

This happens on all the forums. Never reply to inquires to your WTB when the guy says his friend has it and email the friend. New guys with multiple accounts with no history.

I hate scammers....but there's always someone who falls for it. I'm gald we were able to catch this sooner.
