So I was fortunate enough to snag a Hellcat, but when I picked it up I went to load the mags and the capacities were way off. The guy I bought it from was super cool, and I'm not trying to reflect negatively on him, but he is an LEO and not used to dealing with restricted mags. Also he made an effort to get me the mags instead of saying "sold without mags". But he did think that instead of epoxying the block to the follower, he was supposed to slip in the block and then use two stage epoxy to make it just about impossible to separate the base plates from the mags in a manner that leaves them functional. Springfield doesn't make and wont special order 10 round hellcat mags.
So if any of you have both the 11 round and 13 round sizes, that have been blocked but still allow for servicing of the mag please let me know if you would like to sell them. I'm really bummed right now, I was so excited and never even thought of loading the mags until I picked up the gun.
