Looking for a good, low round count factory take-off barrel to replace my worn out Marlin X7VH barrel.
Required:
- .223 Rem standard chamber
- Low round count (up to 300 rnds)
- Take-off barrel from a Marlin X7VH or small shank Savage 10/12
- 24" - 26" length
- 1:9 twist or faster
- Varmint profile
Desirable:
- Stainless steel
- Threaded muzzle
- 1:7 or 1:8 twist would be great
This is a budget rebarrel project, so I'm really looking for a take-off barrel. But if you have a quality aftermarket barrel, especially one chambered in 223 AI, let me know details and we can discuss it.
Located in the SF Bay Area - ideally we can meet F2F.
