    WTB- Budget .357/.38 -Sou-Cal LA

I'm posting this on behalf of a totally different friend from my last WTB post. LOL!

He's has been out of guns for a long time and has a fondness for practical revolvers. He's looking for a budget .357 mag and isn't too fussy about much else else beyond the requirement it works and can be PPT'ed in the Sou-Cal area, preferably around Los Angeles.

He's working on a budget, as I mentioned, and so can't offer anything higher than $300-$400. If anyone can help him out, please send me a PM with either an email address or a phone number he can contact you at. Thanks for reading, and hope to hear from somebody soon. :-)

A good budget 38 would be a S&W model 10 (blued) or model 64 (stainless). These were the "cop guns" carried by many LEO, you can find them around for ~$350 in good shape usually. There are .357 partners to these models but they're harder to find, as many departments didn't issue 357s for whatever political reason. Keep an eye open on the used/consignment shelves down your way and I bet one will pop up.

Man, a budget of $300-$400 on a good working 38cal will be hard to find more so with a 357 mag. Advice your friend to save a bit more like relialistically $450-$550 and he will find something that works good and that he will enjoy rather than regret for a long period of time.
