There is one for sale on here up near you for $120. I have lots of handguns 1911s and colts, s&ws and like my hipoint for plinking . Always shoots. You will hear from some twits on here who have never touched one that they are junk. Do not believe what you read on hear without checking on info. includes me.

It is in Visalia, not anywhere near Sac. You would make 4 x three hour drives.

But you can check dealers in Sac and have them order you one brand new for around $180.

This would be considered off the wall by many, but I would suggest a Phoenix HP22A, about $160 new and widely available. It's reliable and accurate and is a great starter gun for someone want to learn to shoot. I have four and they are my go-to guns for casual target shooting or plinking, more fun to shoot than my Browning Buckmark or Walther P22. Only drawback is double safeties, but you get used to them after awhile and the extra one can be disconnected. Youtube video explains how.

Find a used one or save a little more $.

Smith & Wesson SD9 VE 9mm Luger 4in Satin Stainless Pistol - 16+1 Rounds - The SD VE features an SDT (Self Defense Trigger) for optimal, consistent pull first round to last. The polymer grip frame has a slim, ergonomic, textured grip; textured finger locator; aggressive front and backstrap texturing; and Picatinny-style front rail. The stainless steel slide features front and rear serrations and is fitted with 3-dot white sights. This two tone model has a black frame with a satin finish stainless steel slide and includes a 16-round magazine.

Other places may have them cheaper.

I have a bersa .380 I would let it go for 250, including a really nice leather holster. I'm in sac.

Bersa .380 is a fine gun. I have four of them, including one on my CCW. Dependable, accurate and ergonomically comfortable, basically a Walther PP clone but better in many ways..
