            Bump. Had a line on a 686 in 38 Super, someone walked in and bought it. (it was in Michigan or Washington or something) Found a few RIAs online, maybe looking at a S&W "DK" model if I can find one cheaper than what most folks are asking for... the right gun hasn't found me yet.

              Would you be interested in a Springfield Armory top end in 38 super? I have a Springfield Armory Slide, Ramped Wilson Barrel, full profile compensator, Bo-Mar sights, and hard chromed. It come with some extra small parts, like extractor, firing pin springs and firing pin stop. I also have a bunch of single stack metalform magazines. All you have to do it get it fitted to a 1911 frame and you ready to go.

                hmm, interesting let me think about it - this being my first foray into 38 super I'm not to sure about building, it would be more enticing to get a "normal" SA (or Para) to start...
