    WTB S&W 469 9mm PACHMAYR grips

    Hello fellow CalGuns', family! I am looking for a new, or near new "PACHMAYR" grip for an old S&W 469 9mm. I am on a tight budget, (disability insurance) so I cannot pay too much, need something to replace old grips on this 469 I just bought off a recently retired police officer who used it for twenty-plus years; blueing and grip show a lot of years!

    Also, seral number on this old 469 is:"TAA0926" I am wonder if this is a low, start of run seral number, its under a thousand, I assume alpha "TAA" is a date code or factory code, but "0926" is serial number. They only made the 469 from 1983 to 1988, a short run for a great gun. Can anyone help me, do I have a very early - 1983, first run of S&W 469? Thanks, for any help; please PM with any info.

    Thanks;
    Lawrance

    What are you willing to pay? Before I start digging in storage for them. I don't think they are all that expensive though.

      Pay for grips

      Thank you, for answering my ad, I really do not know what they go for, I have seen them as low as $15 and as high as $45 (on eBay). I am, as the ad said on a tight budget, I am disabled, live on social security disability insurance, and just spent too much for the 469. I want to get it for as low as I can; what will it take for you to go "digging" for them? They are your grips, I would like a donation, but I can pay $15 but I am not sure you would take the time to look for them for that amount. Please, I want to get this gun back to its glory with new grips and a new finish. This is something I want to leave to my son, the 469 is what I carried when I was a forensic photographer for the Highway Patrol thirty years ago. I do not have much to show for my life, I worked in public service to help people. A Human Service worker does not go into the job for the money. There is no retirement, so I live off the social security disability insurance. So you understand why I can't offer you what they are worth, so please let me know what you are willing to take for them.

      Respectfully;
