I am working on 3 project guns and looking for parts. I am located in Long Beach.
First is a 1969 Colt Trooper. This one has the firing pin in the frame. All I have is the frame, cylinder and crane. I need everything else. As I understand it, parts for the MkII and newer are non-compatible.
Second is a Winchester 94 made in 1971 so post 64. All I have is the receiver and a damaged 30-30 barrel. I am going to turn this into a 357 mares leg so I need an 18 inch 357 barrel, all of the screws, cartridge guides, lifter bolt, springs, etc you get the picture.
3rd is an Ithaca M49 single shot 22. I need the complete walnut butt stock with hardware, walnut forend with band and screw, fake magazine tube and the alloy front sight.
I know that I can probably buy built guns for less that what I am going to spend on for the parts. I don't care. The best way to lean gunsmithing is take on some projects. Plus these are also turning out to be neat father/son projects.
Thanks for looking.
