          .357

I've seen/handled one at Sportsman's Warehouse in Rocklin yesterday. Very slick S&W, SS, 4" bbl, 5 shot, no rear sight, just U shaped groove cut in upper strap and very low front sight. Almost bought it to add it to my S&Ws 629 and 617. If it was in .41 magnum it would be mine.

I have a older Model 64 4" (.38 +P, not .357) that I could be convinced to part with. PM me if you're interested in "downgrading" from a .357 and just want a nice plinker. PPT somewhere in the Peninsula region.

                      Thanks...

Thanks for the PMs and offers. I ended up with a SW 66-3 with 4" barrel. Looking forward to picking up this week

Congrats, great choice and you won't regret it. I'm surprised people sell their 66s, it's the keeper-revolver of almost any collection.
