Hello All,
I am looking for a bullet button solution that replaces a Raddlock type on a FAL. The one I have will not allow the action to open enough to remove the BCG and allow cleaning, without undoing the screw that holds the upper and lower together. With this raddlock, I would have to shave a lot of metal off the piece so that there would be enough room for the pivot to open up the action. Also, I don't want to go featureless.
In my research, I have found people discussing BBs from PRK, Driscal, and J Perl back in the day. So apparently there are some types out there that will allow the action to be opened. The alternative would be to try and shave the existing part to create clearance without compromising its own functionality.
Just to be clear, I am trying to fix a product that keeps the action from opening fully to allow the removal of the BCG and cleaning, while staying compliant with the 2016 rules driving to the newly registered AWs. I am not looking to go featureless.
Thanks
