FWIW, I just purchased a Glock 19 new at SD Gun Range for $499. $560 after all tax/dros fees.
Not sure if you have any flexibility in your budget but thought I would throw that out there.

i can get one through work at blue label pricing, but i didn't want to wait the 3 months or so it'll take to get in.

but i appreciate the advice. i guess ill just do that.
