**PURCHASED** WTB: NIB Glock 41 and 43. PLEASE HELP **PURCHASED**

I am a CA legally registered firearm owner who is interested in acquiring a new Glock 41 for target shooting and a new Glock 43 for my newly acquired CCW permit/training. I know I will be paying a premium because they are Gen 4 but I don't want to be ripped off. If there is anyone who has or can acquire these two pistols, I would be indebted. I feel a reasonable premium over the purchase price is reasonable for your time and effort but I'm really not looking for anyone who is trying to make a killing in order for me to acquire a GEN 4 Glock. I am looking to acquire these guns as new (NIB) with all included manuals and accessories (mags) and not fired. In addition, in order to make this most convenient and cost effective for both the buyer and seller, I'm hoping to acquire both guns at the same time. I live in Dana Point and work in Mission Viejo and have friends at several gun shops ranging from Laguna Niguel to Orange that will facilitate the transfer. Please respond if you can help me and can do it for a reasonable premium. The intent would be to help me out and make a few bucks...not rip me off as I could just get the same guns in Gen 3 and avoid this hassle but really would like to get the Gen 4's for their features. Thanks for reading and I'm hoping good Karma will go around and come around!

    Welcome to Calguns.
Perhaps you are not aware these are "off roster", but may be purchased used thru private party transfer.
Try looking in the Handgun Marketplace...

    Interesting first post.
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

They are always available in the marketplace.

Several are relatively nearby for $800 to $1000...

What do you consider a "reasonable" premium?
      Real Californian...

Pardon my ignorance everyone but what does it mean to be "off roster"?? I'm not looking to do anything illegal. I was just told by a gun store owner friend of mine, that the only way I could get one in CA is through a private party sale and I'd be looking to pay a premium, which I understand, for the trouble. One of the posts said, "it's a tarp"...if they meant trap, I don't understand. I thought a private party sale of a Gen 4 was OK. I figured I could get both and would pay a premium of a couple hundred dollars per gun. I wasn't expecting such a frosty welcome to this site. Please excuse me if I came across in an unorthodox manner.

Ok, I understand "off roster" now...I guess it looks like I'll have to do the two purchases separately unless I find a "unicorn" and get both from the same seller. I'm getting the feeling, from looking around, that the chance of this is slim to none. I'm open to any suggestions. Please don't be too harsh...I'm new to this forum and would appreciate CONSTRUCTIVE advice. Thanks in advance!

You could always post an ad in the WTB (want to buy) forum, and maybe you'll get lucky, but the chances of finding that exact combo might be tough...
Start looking in the Marketplace, probably one at a time. Not everyone here gouges, some do.
                I picked up a G43 for $650.
If you have something that someone wants, put it up for trade.
Good luck in your quest OP.
                Again, welcome to CALGUNS!

Thanks PatC415. I'm getting an education here via comments on the thread and PMs. I guess my initial post was pretty naive...as I've been told...and I can't say I don't agree. I'll chalk it up to me being a newbie here. I appreciate your advice. Now that I better understand this process, I'm just hoping to come across the G43 and G41 and just not have to pay close to double. The fact that you got a G43 for that price is amazing and gives me hope that I can find one for a couple hundred dollar or so premium and not double. I'll keep looking.
