As it says in the title, I'm looking for a Mossberg M44 US in the Santa Clarita Valley. I'm willing to drive a bit to meet and deal, but past orange county to the south and Bakersfield to the north is too far for me really. A cmp mix-n-match is OK too.

I really like military trainers, and I really like using the peep sight, which is the reason for my interest in a Mossberg m44 us. I also like the use of the bolt action mechanism because I feel that it lets me concentrate more rather than just blasting away.

The m44 is what i feel as being a combination of all those things I like, a worn history, peep sight, bolt action, and relatively cheap. The only thing left is to find someone nearby that wants to sell theirs and will let my try it out before hand.
